The school's laboratories are well-equipped and serve as valuable
means of enhancing the teaching and learning of the sciences.
Practical hands-on experiments are employed to enhance the process
of learning and allow students the opportunity to experiment and
learn.
Being
a core subject in the school's curriculum till class X, sciences
are taught to all pupils. Later, students can choose between the
different disciplines offered according to their interests.
Supervised afternoon and evening Laboratory sessions allow interested
students to undertake a considerable amount of personal project
work.

Traditional craft-based skills, including woodwork, aeromodelling,
clay modelling, among others are a part of the general curriculum.
The school has a pottery studio and wood and metal workshop, where
students are taught the rudiments of design and to handle tools
and implements.

The extensive library situated at the heart of the school with
a seating capacity for 72 students, contains approximately 10,000
books and subscribes to a wide range of magazines and newspapers.
Pupils are shown how to use the library and its facilities in
their first term and are encouraged to use it for recreational
reading as well as for research and private study.
There is a large collection of reference books in diverse disciplines:
from pure sciences to forestry, environmental studies, astronomy,
classics, comparative literature, drama, mythology, law, linguistics,
medicine, and statistics. The leisure reading section covers the
entire spectrum from the epics to bestsellers.
The Librarian offers assistance in retrieving information, identifying
research strategies, and acquiring books not available on campus.

Computers are an integral part of the school's facilities. The
computer centre, equipped with a network of IBM-compatible PCs,
is used for specific lessons in computer applications and for
individual project work. The centre provides a wide range of software
covering the fields of word processing, spreadsheets, databases,
as well as more specialised areas such as design and mathematics.

Music
is a part of life in our school with something for everyone. Boys
are allowed to choose from a wide range of Indian and Western
keyboard and percussion instruments besides singing lessons. They
are encouraged to form vocal and instrumental groups-from a school-level
orchestra to informal bands.

The
school has a modern, well-equipped auditorium. Boys are involved
in the annual dramatics competition. This colourful event helps
to establish many a latent talent to blossom in the years ahead.
Theatre
groups are invited to present plays while leading theatre personalities
will hold workshops to encourage boys to explore their potential.
