The school strives to develop in its students the practical abilities they need to contribute to society while ensuring that the education will enable them to deal with the unexpected turns life may take.

Science Laboratories
The school's laboratories are well-equipped and serve as valuable means of enhancing the teaching and learning of the sciences. Practical hands-on experiments are employed to enhance the process of learning and allow students the opportunity to experiment and learn.

Being a core subject in the school's curriculum till class X, sciences are taught to all pupils. Later, students can choose between the different disciplines offered according to their interests.

Supervised afternoon and evening Laboratory sessions allow interested students to undertake a considerable amount of personal project work.

Crafts
Traditional craft-based skills, including woodwork, aeromodelling, clay modelling, among others are a part of the general curriculum. The school has a pottery studio and wood and metal workshop, where students are taught the rudiments of design and to handle tools and implements.

Library
The extensive library situated at the heart of the school with a seating capacity for 72 students, contains approximately 10,000 books and subscribes to a wide range of magazines and newspapers. Pupils are shown how to use the library and its facilities in their first term and are encouraged to use it for recreational reading as well as for research and private study.

There is a large collection of reference books in diverse disciplines: from pure sciences to forestry, environmental studies, astronomy, classics, comparative literature, drama, mythology, law, linguistics, medicine, and statistics. The leisure reading section covers the entire spectrum from the epics to bestsellers.

The Librarian offers assistance in retrieving information, identifying research strategies, and acquiring books not available on campus.

Computer Room
Computers are an integral part of the school's facilities. The computer centre, equipped with a network of IBM-compatible PCs, is used for specific lessons in computer applications and for individual project work. The centre provides a wide range of software covering the fields of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, as well as more specialised areas such as design and mathematics.

Music and Drama

Music is a part of life in our school with something for everyone. Boys are allowed to choose from a wide range of Indian and Western keyboard and percussion instruments besides singing lessons. They are encouraged to form vocal and instrumental groups-from a school-level orchestra to informal bands.

The school has a modern, well-equipped auditorium. Boys are involved in the annual dramatics competition. This colourful event helps to establish many a latent talent to blossom in the years ahead.

Theatre groups are invited to present plays while leading theatre personalities will hold workshops to encourage boys to explore their potential.
